HOW about this as an extra incentive to get up early at the weekend?

Gazette readers who have been collecting their Big Ticket tokens in this week’s papers can pop down to their favourite attractions nice and early tomorrow.

Merlin Entertainments has teamed up with The Gazette to offer the Big Ticket Bonanza – a Big Ticket into all Merlin attractions for just £20.

And Merlin is giving readers an extra two free tickets for the Blackpool Dungeons with every Big Ticket purchased.

Those with Big Ticket tokens to exchange can go along to any Merlin Box Office from 9.30am tomorrow.

Staff at the Blackpool Tower and Blackpool Tower Dungeon on Bank Hey Street and Sea Life and Madame Tussauds on the Promenade are heading into work early so they will be ready to exchange tokens for the reduced price Big Ticket.

Head of Merlin Entertainments in Blackpool, Iain Hawkins, said: “We’re all really excited for this weekend and hope the readers of The Gazette have been saving their tokens throughout the week and are looking forward to taking up this fantastic offer.

“We’ve had some amazing feedback, there’s a real buzz in shops selling The Gazette about the Big Ticket.

“We’ve therefore taken the decision to open the doors early for ticket sales so that we can keep queuing times to a minimum.”

The ticket will be exchanged for any three of the six tokens The Gazette has printed over the last week, and offer a saving of £99 on usual admission prices and £25 on the standard Big Ticket.

It offers a single pass into some of the biggest attractions in the resort.

It also gives visitors entry into the four other popular attractions within Blackpool Tower, including the Tower Eye, Tower Dungeon, Tower Circus and Jungle Jims.
