A SEAFRONT attraction has secured permission to create a stunning new entrance.
Council planners have approved an application for the £50,000 improvements to The Sandcastle water park.
The scheme will see waterfalls installed on either side of the entrance, flowing into rock pools at the base. The the new entrance will comprise of a pitched roof covered with artificial thatched roofing.
The proposals were approved under delegate powers.
A report accompanying the planning application says: “The water feature will enhance the water park’s image, bringing the attractions of what is going on inside the building, to the outside, and creating the sound of water onto the frontage with the aim to attract attention.”
