There’s now a chance to take your tea with a delightful brew, sorry view, of Blackpool’s past.
Blott Artist Studios, King Street, has an eye catching display of vintage Blackpool and Suffragette movement posters, which also feature on a range of bone china and ceramic mugs.
They are the work of a new Blackpool-based company Blame Lillith.
Corrine Streetly, a director of the studios, says: “Inspired and created from early 1900 memorabilia, the quality Vintage Blackpool range of gifts depict and illustrate a time when the resort was ‘the’ location to visit.
“They bring to life the gaiety and humour of the time, in a way that transcends and ultimately reminds us of what Blackpool still can be.”
Corrine adds: “The Suffragette range is inspired by various items of memorabilia that illustrate the fight women had to obtain the vote. There has already been considerable interest in the collection.”
The Giclee printed posters are on 190gr satin paper, A3 in size, and cost £9.99 unframed or £25 in a simple timeless black frame.
The china mugs retail at £9.99 and ceramic at £8.99.
Blott Studios is open weekdays 10.30am to 3.30pm and Saturdays 11am to 4pm.
