Hitting the airwaves
One of the Fylde Coast's fastest rising singer songwriters is to be featured singing live tonight on Radio Lancashire.
The extremely talented Rae Morris has been invited to play live on Sean McGinty's Introducing Show, from 8pm.
Rae, who has been receiving rave reactions to her live performances, has just recorded her first demo CD at Blackpool's Rock Hard Studio and the results can be heard on Rae's My Space page which can be found on: myspace.com/raemorrismusic
She has a busy schedule of gigs in November that she has to fit in alongside her college work. Rae is currently studying A level music at Newman College in Preston.
After tonight's radio show she can be heard at The Mad Ferrett in Preston (November 9), The Kenlis Arms in Garstang supporting Nigel Stonier as part of the Garstang Unplugged Sessions (November 11 – see below), The Withy Trees, Preston (November 12), The Continental, Preston (November 16), the West Coast Rock Cafe's final night of live music in Blackpool (November 20), Stanley Park Art Deco Cafe, Blackpool – supporting The Kelly Johnson Trio (November 21), The Dukes Theatre, Lancaster (November 23) and The Running Pump, Catforth (November 27).

n Garstang Unplugged's last guest of the year at the Kenlis Arms is Nigel Stonier. He's a record producer, songwriter, multi- instrumentalist and an exceptional performer. He began when he was invited into a recording studio with the Strawbs. Since he has built an impressive portfolio with Fairport Convention, Lindisfarne , Rod Clements and Chris While.
Nigel played a great part in the rise of one of the UK 's most acclaimed younger singer/songwriters, Thea Gilmore. He produced all her album, co-wrote her 2004 hit single Mainstream and has performed with Thea around the world.
