Glittering costumes

Fabulous glittering costumes have long been a tradition at Blackpool Pleasure Beach with the Stageworks Wardrobe Team producing stunning pieces for shows such as Hot Ice, Forbidden, Eclipse, Mystique, The Royal Variety Performance and countless West End productions.

The Pleasure Beach and Stageworks are now granting a rare opportunity of two behind the scenes tours taking in the wardrobe department as part of Blackpool's? 2011 Showzam! Festival next month.

Antony Johns, creative director of Stageworks Worldwide Productions and Blackpool Pleasure Beach will take guests on a unique tour to backstage areas for a look at the design and production of costumes.

Tours include the wardrobe archive which contains designs and costumes from 75 years of showbusiness. They take place on February 11 and 25 at 1.30pm.Spaces are limited so it's advised to book early.

The price is 10 for the two-hour tour per person.
