Leading local dance brand Randy Ron launches it Randyfest(ivities) next Thursday, with the first of three major events over a period of nine days.
Co Randy boss Alex Huckerby says: “In previous years, Boxing Day has been our flagship night over Christmas but we’ve always put on a huge party on the Thursday before the festivities start, and it turns out that this always attracts big numbers and has sold out in consecutive years.
“I think it’s something to do with the fact everyone has finished work for the holiday period and all the students that have been away are back in town too, so it’s a great opportunity for everyone to come together and have one massive party.
“This year’s theme is Ice, with dry ice effects across the dance floor, snow machines, Randy Ron ice club décor plus much more, it’s set to be the coolest venue in town.”
On the decks and spinning the tunes is Randy Ron resident and BBC Radio 1 DJ winner Danny Howard, and he’ll be joined by Elliott Smith, Vince Williams and old friend Nick Coulson who is on the line-up at Gatecrasher Birmingham four days later alongside Laidback Luke and Judge Jules.
Making his Blackpool debut is top saxophonist Tom Da Lips who is also playing for Hed Kandi in Barcelona on New Year’s Eve.
“Expect a mash up of the biggest House, Electro, R&B and Hip-Hop as our talent filled line up prepare to whip up the dance floor into a festive frenzy,” added Alex.
To help celebrate Christmas in style, Randy Ron is giving away a bottle of champagne on ICE every day from now for you and your friends to enjoy on the night in the Crystal VIP lounge.
All you have to do is buy your ticket in advance and you will be automatically entered into a draw to win the bubbly prize. The winners will be announced on the official Randy Ron Facebook page at the end of each day.
