Coffee, cakes and culture too

The Friends of the Grand’s next Coffee Morning takes place on Thursday with the Grand Theatre’s engagement and learning manager Celine Wyatt as guest speaker.

Everyone is welcome – you don’t have to be a member to come along – to the Grand’s Lawrence House Studio.

The morning starts at 10.30am with coffee (or tea) and cakes or two.

Celine Wyatt has over 25 years experience working within the cultural learning sector. She first worked at the Grand Theatre from 1995 to 2002 as education manager and established the Grand Youth Theatre Company as well as commissioning new work by David Holman, Paul Goetzee and Kevin Fegan.

She will be talking about her current role at The Grand and her plans for building audiences – both now and in the future.

Admission is £3 and it is recommend that tickets be booked in advance from (01253) 743339.
