Boots in store
This year's most talked about rock star, former Blackpool-based Little Boots (above) is to play a very special show in her hometown HMV Store.
The hotly tipped performer will be giving a free show and signing session at the Blackpool HMV on Bank Hey Street, on Sunday at 5pm to celebrate the release of her debut album, Hands.
Showtime is at 5pm and afterwards Little Boots – aka Victoria Hesketh – will remain in the store to meet fans and sign copies of her new album which they'll be able to buy a day before the rest of the public get their "hands" on it.
The album Hands is officially released through 679/Atlantic Records on Monday.
Little Boots came top of the BBC's Sound Of 2009 list and is set to play a number of festivals this year including T-In The Park, Latitude and Victoria Park's Underage Festival.
