DO you have a talent which you want to share?
Can you sing like Beyoncé or dance like Alesha Dixon?
If so The Horseshoe at Blackpool Pleasure Beach is set to host Star Idol, a chance for budding performers to take centre stage and perform for a chance to claim a £1000 prize.
Star Idol is the n
ew version of the annual Pleasure Beach talent which has previously been staged in The Star on Ocean Boulevard.
The search is on for singers, dancers, comedians and speciality acts to compete in the fabulous challenge.
The final, which is to be held in August, will be judged by special guests and talent scouts from Stageworks Worldwide Productions who are responsible for creating shows around the world.
The winner will receive a cash prize of £1,000 and other prizes. Each heat winner will also win £100.
Judges will be looking for someone with that extra special talent and a dazzling stage presence.
The Horseshoe has a fully licenced bar and also serves snacks. Children are welcome in the venue.
Star Idol begins tonight and runs every Friday until August 28. To enter, visit the website at www.pleasurebeachresort.com and complete the online application form or alternatively call (01253) 336330 for an application form.
