Children's supergroup The Wiggles make their Blackpool debut on Wednesday at the Opera House.
One of the most successful children's entertainment groups in the world will be at the Opera House as part of the group's You Make Me Feel Like Dancing UK tour.
Graham Kennedy, head of live events for The Wiggles said: "Demand for tickets to this y
ear's tour has been phenomenal and we're delighted to be bringing The Wiggles to Blackpool for the very first time.
"Their infectious blend of great songs, dancing and Wiggly fun will be a fantastic treat for children who may never have seen The Wiggles perform before."
Joining Anthony, Jeff, Murray and Sam on stage are all their Wiggly friends: Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Captain Feathersword and Henry the Octopus.
The Wiggles will perform favourites such as Rock-A-Bye Your Bear, Play Your Guitar with Murray, Monkey Dance and Can You Point Your Fingers and Do The Twist?
The live show also features a collection of new hits including You Make Me Feel Like Dancing, originally a huge hit for Leo Sayer, who has re-recorded his biggest hit with the group.
The Wiggles recently recorded a song with fellow Aussie superstar, Kylie Minogue. Proceeds from the song, Monkey Man, going to Unicef for whom the Wiggles are Goodwill Ambassadors.
The Wiggles can count Robert De Niro, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cate Blanchett, Chris Martin, Alex James, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Mariella Frostrup and Sophie Ellis Bextor among their many celebrity fans, all of whom have experienced The Wiggles live in concert.
The Wiggles' interactive song and dance has been capturing audiences' imaginations for 18 years.
They have sold in excess of 22.5 million Videos/DVDs and seven million CDs worldwide and in 2008 alone performed to over one million people.
The Wiggles are the most awarded children's act in Australia. Last year, they were named as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors joining the ranks of Shakira, David Beckham and Roger Federer.
