A WESHAM councillor is calling for urgent repair work to be carried out on local footpaths.
Coun Renwick has contacted Lancashire County Council, demanding that action be taken over the crumbling footpaths of Park Lane in Wesham.

Recently, several other pavements at Morland Avenue and Queens Place have been resurfaced.

Now, coun Renwick is looking for other Wesham footpaths to be included in the rolling works program.

He said: "I am of course delighted that some of Wesham's footpaths have been resurfaced and some more are due to be, however, we can't leave any out.
"I have today written to the Highway Bosses asking for Park Lane and the associated cul-de-sacs to be looked at and included in the program."
