Showzam's third annual Carnival Ball is flying down to Rio with its fabulous theme, The Spirit of Brazil.
Put your dancing shoes on, dress up to the nines, and celebrate the rhythms, colours and sounds of the Latin explosion in the Tower Ballroom.
Hosted by burlesque star Miss
Behave, the event will feature salsa band Coco Xpress, world class variety acts, showgirls, a bevy of dancers, a Latin DJ to keep the dancing going until the wee hours, and a few other surprises to keep you on your toes.
Whether you like to salsa, mambo, rumba, samba, or cha-cha-cha where better to do it than one of the most revered dance floors in the world?
And with dancers on hand wallflowers and show offs alike will get to be spun around, no matter what their level.
Acts include Miss Behave – Guinness world record holding swordswallower and outrageous, sexy mistress of ceremonies; Amber Topaz – a singing and dancing, ballet trained burlesque beauty; The Amazing Marawa – the hula hoop sensation and calypso firecracker, all the way from Australia; The Sugar Dandies - same sex ballroom dancing world vice-champions Romany - Diva of Magic taking a break from her busy schedule entertaining the elite in Las Vegas and LA; Le Gateau Chocolat – operatic sensation and over the top diva; Bruce Airhead – seeing is believing with this one off speciality act. Absolutely hilarious and unbelievable at the same time, you will never look at a balloon the same way;
Coco Xpress - live musical entertainment with the vibrant Latino beats -and Blackpool's own gorgeous Pleasure Beach Girls.
To add to the night's entertainment, Miss Behave will award the best dressed party-goer of the night with a VIP Showzam pass, allowing the winner to go to any Showzam event on offer throughout the festival.
