PART of Yeadon Way will be closed to traffic from next week while improvements are carried out to Waterloo Road Bridge and adjacent verges.
From Monday, Yeadon Way will be closed to southbound traffic from the junction of Parkinson Way to Waterloo Road Bridge.

Southbound traffic will be diverted via Sands Way, Rigby Road, Central Drive, Waterloo Road and Parkinson Way.

The work is due to continue until July 18 but Yeadon Way will be reopened for the bank holiday weekend between Friday May 23 and Monday May 26.

Meanwhile the Watson Road underpass, near the Pleasure Beach, will be re-opened by May 30 after highways work there.
