REALITY TV show Wife Swap is appealing for Blackpool couples to come forward to participate in a new series of the programme.
Any couples interested in getting involved must have children in their home.

Catalogue of crime

A MAN convicted of a

catalogue of crime had his case adjourned to April 30 for psychiatric reports.

Christopher Muir, 50, from Pedders Lane, South Shore, who is convicted of assault, damaging an art exhibition, theft and two offences of disorderly conduct, was bailed by Blackpool magistrates.

Exemplary safety

A THORNTON electrical firm has won a prestigious health and safety award.

Electrical Installations Ltd, from Lawsons Road was honoured at the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents Health and Safety Awards 2007.

The company was described as a fine example and others were encouraged to follow its lead.
