Watch the terrifying moment a gun-toting robber attacked a security guard and stole thousands of pounds from a Blackpool bank.
Police today released shocking new CCTV images along with a picture of the thief suspected of carrying out the robbery at the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Officers are keen to trace Russell Grant who is believed to have carried out a string of other violent robberies and is wanted by a number of police forces across the country.

This wasn't apparently the most sophisticated crime ever committed. A push bike as a getaway vehicle ??

The man was obviously very desperate, and clearly having observed the local arrangements pertaining to bank security, saw his opportunity.

Don't worry folks, the Police really do care about you, and you can always phone CrimeStoppers. Fat load of difference that's going to make!

Apathy and cost cutting versus criminality just don't deliver culprits.
