Traffic warden in homophobic attack

A TRAFFIC warden was spat at in a homophobic attack as he attempted to put a ticket on a car in Blackpool town centre.
The incident was outside Primark on Bank Hey Street at 8.30pm Sunday.

The official was approached by an man who shouted homophobic slurs at him before leaving. He returned shortly after and resumed the tirade before spitting in the warden's face.

Police are looking at CCTV pictures. They want to speak to a man, possibly off eastern European origin, slim build, wearing a dark blue baseball cap, a dark blue jacket with white stripe and white jogging pants.
