THREE men have been arrested over an arson attack which threatened to destroy Poulton's Teanlowe Shopping Centre.
Fire investigators have concluded the fire was "suspicious" after discovering the outbreak had started in two separate places in the Club Monaco which is on the first floor.

The three men were arrested on suspicion of arson and have been released on bail until May.

Two, aged 54 and 24, are from Preston and the third, aged 46, is from Blackpool. The men have not been named.

The blaze erupted in the first-floor club at around 10pm on January 17.

More than 60 fire firefighters from across Lancashire were drafted in to deal with the blaze.

The club was completely destroyed and the Somerfield supermarket below was badly hit as the gallons of water used by firefighters flooded the store and destroyed stock.
