WESHAM parish council has become the first in the Fylde to buy a speed monitoring device for their community.
The rechargable battery device – which cost £2,500 – will be used at different locations.

Ward councillor, Simon Renwick, who also sits on the parish council, said: "I think this is a real advancement for a forward-thinking council, and I am proud to be involved."

Motorists using Fleetwood Road and Weeton Road in the village will be the first to see the device.

Further the previous deleted comment.

I'm just wondering on what evidence the accusation has been made, you'll note it was nameless so therefore not only was it a lie, it was also made by a coward!

My involvement has been total commitment and support all away along. In fact if I had had my way at previous meeting and my proposition had been supported, we'd have had this months ago!

I just wonder which if the politically motivated Town Councillors made this comment?

And as for my attendance, again, where is the evidence? And when you are a busy councillor attending anything up to 5 or 6 meetings a week (at least) attending to the business of Fylde and Wesham I do take exception.

So the unnamed Town Councillor needs to name him or herself and deliver the evidence. The Town Council minutes prove otherwise!
