A WOMAN fled from security staff after she stole a closed circuit television camera from a shop.
Jane Snape, 33, of Shaftsbury Avenue, North Shore, who admitted theft was bailed to February 13 for pre-sentence reports by Blackpool magistrates.

Jim Mowbray, prosecuting, said Snape was seen taking a £27 CCTV camera from B&Q, Bispham, on Saturday.

When challenged outside the store by security staff she took the camera from her bag then fled.

David Charnley, defending, said drugs had played a significant part in his client's offending.
