Shock for sleeping granny
A MAN frightened his grandmother when he appeared in her bedroom at night shouting and swearing.
Matthew Jones, 22, of Anchorsholme Lane East, Cleveleys, admitted a breach of the peace and was bound over in the sum of £100 for 12 months.
Wendy Evans, prosecuting, said the defendant's grandmother Kay Kenworthy contacted police to say that on April 7 she was asleep in bed when Jones came into her room.
He was shouting and swearing, asking her for cigarettes before throwing a cup of tea at the living room wall.
Jones told magistrates: "I was drunk. I am sorry."
