Men in court over off-licence robbery

TWO men accused of a robbery at a Blackpool off-licence in which the shopkeeper was hit over the head with a bottle of wine have appeared in court.
Dane Parker, a 26-year-old electrician, of Town Mill Brow, and Darren Kendrick, a jobless 26-year-old, of Whitehall Street, both of Rochdale, are charged with robbing the shopkeeper of cash, cigarettes and alcohol valued at £245.

The offence is alleged to have taken place at The Full Moon off-licence, Waterloo Road, South Shore, on Saturday.
