Blackpool's queen of pop bought her first record at HMV in the resort, now her own album is flying off the store's shelves.
Four hundred fans packed into the store on Bank Hey Street especially for the Blackpool star's homecoming gig.
The crowd queued for hours desperate to get their hands on a copy of her debut album Hands - a day before anyone else in the country.
Little Boots, aka Victoria Hesketh, wowed fans as she belted out her catchy electro pop tunes, including New In Town which went Top 20 last week.
And dedicating her next single Remedy to the "Hesketh masses" who were proudly watching on, it was clear it was an emotional gig for the 25-year-old who heaped praise on her home town. She said: "Coming to where you bought your first album and seeing your own there, it's amazing."
The former Gazette employee now faces a packed schedule of gigs at this year's Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds festivals followed by a tour of America, Japan and Australia.
But it seems where ever she goes, she'll be flying the flag for Blackpool.
She said: "I'm so proud of where I come from. I wrote half of my album in LA – Hollywood Boulevard isn't a million miles away from Blackpool Promenade!
"When I come back here and there are so many young people from Blackpool trying to do something, it's really brilliant. It's really special that there is such a sense of community here – people coming out to support me and how much The Gazette has been behind me."
With the album, which officially goes on sale today, currently at number four in the i-tunes chart, her fans are confident she's got what it takes to scoop the top spot.
Roana Pratt, 21, from St Annes, said: "I think she's brilliant. It was a great opportunity to see her live. We are really proud because she's from our area."
And Victoria's number one fan, her mum Gillian, said: "The adrenaline is flowing. It's a big day, it's great and I'm so proud."
Younger brother Henry, 16, said: "She's an inspiration. I walk into HMV and there's my sister. It's cool."
Blackpool actor Sonny Flood, who plays Josh Ashworth in C4 Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, joined the crowd.
After her performance he said: "It was really good. I'm starting to DJ and a lot of her songs are getting mixed. I really like Meddle and Remedy. I'm a big fan."
