Blackpool's West End wannabe Jodie Prenger has survived another week to get through BBC1's talent search for an unknown talent to play Nancy in a West End revival of Oliver!
Jodie, 28, of Newton Drive, Blackpool, got through to the last 10 on viewers' votes in "I'd Do Anything!", hosted by Graham Norton, on Saturday.

After a belting performance of "I'm Every Woman", judge John Barrowman told Jodie: "You represent every woman watching this show. You ARE a Nancy contender."

Blackpool girl Jodie is BBC favourite

Fellow judge Denise van Outen was less impressed commenting that some of Jodie's finishing notes were more cabaret than West End.
