A COMPANY director accused of fraud and money laundering charges involving half-a-million pounds has made his first appearance at court.
Mark Harrison, 47, of Westwell Grove, Blackpool, faces 24 charges involving his former company, Plas Tech Vision Ltd, which had addresses on Lytham Road and Whitegate Drive, Blackpool.

Harrison is alleged to have fraudulently sold advertising space, falsely stating it would appear on television, desktop planners and calendars, to businesses including Football League clubs and semi-professional football clubs.

Wound-up

He is also accused of dishonesty over bank standing order forms.

Harrison is further charged with money laundering £457,181 from the fraudulent sale of advertising between September 2005 and August 2007.

Pam Smith, prosecuting, did not oppose defence lawyer Martin Hillson’s application for an adjournment.

Harrison was bailed to August 6 by Blackpool magistrates.

Plas Tech Vision Ltd and its associated company, Max Vision UK Ltd, were both compulsorily wound up at the High Court in 2007.
