Crowds flock to jobs fair

JOB seekers will be flocking to St Annes next week for the annual jobs fair.
Hundreds of people will be attending the event at the town's JobCentre Plus on Westmorland Road where dozens of local and national firms are employing new recruits.

Employers include McDonald's, Pontin's, Sainsbury's Adecco, Catering Elite, CMYK, Lancashire Police, Army careers.

JobCentre staff will be available to discuss any problems people may have in finding the right career for them.

Entry is free although you will need to register your details on admission.

and of the employers listed only cmyk and lancashire police can offer full time permanant employment.Unless you want to join the army and move away. Agencies arent employers - sainsburys, pontins and macdonalds usually have jobs which either seasonal or are 15 hours are less so they dont have to pay the employees NI.
Yes, a boost to the local economy...not.
