Blackpool schoolgirl killed in horror crash

A TEENAGE girl from Blackpool died after she was knocked down by a car seconds after stepping off a school bus.
Robyn Oldham, 15, was hit by the car at Birkenhills in Aberdeenshire on Thursday.

Her school friends watched in horror from the bus as paramedics desperately tried to save her life.

The teenager was flown from the scene, at Birkenhills on the A947 Turriff-Fyvie road, to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where she later died.

The tragedy happened just yards from the young girl's home where floral tributes have been laid.

Reports locally say Robyn had just started a new life after moving to Scotland from Blackpool.

She was attending Turriff Academy.

Police say pupils at the school have been left shaken by their classmate's death and are to be offered counselling.

A friend of my daughters who lived just around the corner from us on Lulworth Avenue.
I`ve just had a phone call from my daughter confirming that it was the Robyn she knew.
The family only moved last month to Scotland.Very sad,tragic news.
R.I.P young lady...

I Can't Believe it actually Happened. I Can't Believe I was there. On the bus while you were lying there. =(
You were here such a short time and you will be missed.
It's Just Scary how these things can happen....Seeing as I Livee on this road too.

i remeber when i met her in town &she asked me how i did my makeup,
she will be missed, i didnt know her that well but she seemed like such a lovely girl..

Robyn, I can't actually believe you have been taken from this world. My thoughts are with your family and you will be in our prayers. Just remember your happy smiling face last summer when we all went to Stanley Park and when we used to call round your house with Laura. You will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Robyn i miss you so much , who am i gonna ring evrynite and have my random phone conversations that go on for hours .. and hours , i never could look at my phone bill after being on the phone to this girl but i would do anything just to have it all again just to be able to hear her voice one last time , and i will never forget the last night i spent with you just before you moved up scottland , just walking round marton having a good old chat , gosh i really miss you babe , ive made several videos and put them on bebo .. well there basically on EVERYONES bebo now , i keep looking at your photos babe you look so beautiful on them all , you always was a pretty girl , it just isnt the same without you robyn everyone is missing you so much we cant belive you have gone , it still hasn't sunk in yet and dont think it will either babe , i love you so much robyn , sleep tight .x. heavens new angel <3
