BLACKPOOL residents are being targeted by scam callers claiming to be from BT.
The warning follows a number of incidents where callers have claimed payments are overdue and have then asked for financial and personal information.

PC Andy Denton, Crime Prevention Officer at Blackpool Police Station, said: "BT says it would not cut anyone off using this type of procedure and would never make unsolicited calls asking for bank details."
