FORGET the fate of the three little pigs, this is one Fylde house where the "Huf" sees it anything but blown down.
In fact, the £1.7m detached property off Ballam Road, Ballam, near Lytham, is taking shape in record time.

Just over a week ago it was an empty field.

Now it is the desirable setting for a German-built open plan, Huf Haus five bedroom home, flown over to the UK and attracting inquisitive glances from passing motorists.

I've been ranting on about these Huf Haus buildings for years, at least people might know what I'm on about now. They are exceptional, I only wish I could afford one myself.

Sorry Frustrated, really do mean it !... amazing how people take comments made and emphasised to be "tongue in cheek"...someone I wonder who, actually resorted to having my letter removed as unsuitable !

Goodness gracious what on earth is this world coming to, when quite clearly everything that I said was just not true - but was a really a wild guess at what could have happened which resulted in this £1.7m house appearing virtually overnight on Green belt land....Plus of course the new application form for re-housing into these new German homes when they are all completed.!!

The only ones who can break the rules are - The Council, because you can bet your mortgage that if anyone else did such a thing - they would be down on them like a ton of bricks.

Ah well Great Britain - Freedom of speech ! You must be joking !

The latest rumour is Mr Mugabe has put his name on the list already !

Dont worry about building these on greenbelt land, just go up division lane and see what the millionaires are building up there,
one wouldnt mind if they were building starter homes, but these massive big things,

very soon there will not be any green fields

Thank for the kind comments (1 and 2)Comment 3 has been removed and Comments 4, 5 and 6 have confused me!

The "green belt field" as it has been described by one commenter was actually old farm buildings. We aquired the 2 plots with full planning permision - the buildings had been knocked down and the land (having had some time to grow) took the appearance of a field.

2nd of all is the very confusing talk of council re-housing! (Comment 5) I can assure you as the "owner" no plans have been submitted for re-housing anyone! These properties are for private ownership...I should know...I will live in one! I don't wish to cause offence to anyone...this is a dream for me but please know we have not developed any green belt land and all that has been done has been above aboard and fair and square!

Dear Mich W - Lancaster.
Firstly the story appeared with the headline implying no one knew what it was about, then you had comments about the type of house, then I posted a "TONGUE IN CHEEK" comment anbout council housing issues and lo and behold someone fell for it and had it removed.

I again posted in answer to putting ideas into peoples heads !... I guess that was aimed at the Council, but I am happy to bear the brunt.

My comments yesterday apolgised to "Frustrated" at St.Annes and to be honest if necessary I'll apologise to you also..... if you honestly took my comments as anything anywhere "FACTUAL" information, I'm sorry you did or indeed for any upset or concern you may have had by having another home built on derelict farm building land.

All I can really say and I don't apologise for this is -you must be one of the fortunate few who can actually afford to have one of these homes and build another one to sell off at the same time - good luck to you,one thing for sure I don't suppose you will ever have to apply to the council for housing will you !

Most applications for planning on farmland stipulate either rebuilding of barns and outbuildings to similar standards and methods as originally used when converted to housing, however you appear to have something new - let the grass and fields grow over the demolished buildings and then plonk up a new Glass House....I'm sure others will be similarly concerned that their application to do the same was turned down ?...

Good luck to you.... and I really do mean it !
