WHAT have Bloomfield Road, chocolate breakfast cereal and Australian soaps got in common?
Well they are some of star striker Ben Burgess's favourite things.
The revelations – including another one that he can't stand Manchester United – came as he faced a grilling from young fans.
Ben spent an hour with Year 7 pupils from Palatine Technology College as part of a scheme to inspire young people and encourage them to follow their dreams.
The group of 14 were given the opportunity to ask the fans' favourite questions about his career, family and hobbies and the pace didn't let up for a single second.
Ben said: "I was really impressed with the things the kids asked me. They came up with some good questions – unusual things, too, like what's the funniest thing I can do with my body which I can honestly say I've never been asked before."
A baffled Ben pondered on this before revealing to the pupils he cannot breathe out of his nose due to numerous nose breaks down the years.
Who said football was all glamour?
"It was nice to come into a school and I hope the kids got something out of it," Ben said.
Youngsters discovered many things about the Buxton-born player such as his love of Manchester City football club, Coco Pops and Australian soaps as well as his dislike of United.
Peter Holden, learning mentor at the St Annes Road school, said: "Having Ben come into school was fantastic for the kids.
"The school has close links with the football club and we were delighted when they said they would send a player along. It is really inspiring for the children to meet somebody so successful. It just shows they are normal people and achieving your dreams is possible if you work hard."
Blackpool FC fan Dean Kerr, 12, found out Ben was visiting the school just 10 minutes before his arrival, but thought of dozens of questions to ask the player.
He said: "It was great to meet Ben. I go to a lot of matches so it was nice to get to speak to him."
Season ticket holder Mark Ashmore, 14, added: "He was really nice."
