ONE of Fleetwood's most prominent architectural landmarks, the Orient Building, is up for public auction on Thursday.
The building, which includes the Custom House on Station Road, will go under the hammer at Old Trafford stadium.

Car crime spree

THREE cars parked in Poulton were targeted by thieves last week.

During Wednesday night a sat-nav went from a Vauxhall Astra on Roylen Avenue. On Thursday a CD player was taken from a Ford Focus and Fiat Punto in Tudor Close. Also during Wednesday night a Honda motorbike (X 537 JHG) was stolen in Poulton Road.

Church's concert

ANCHORSHOLME Methodist Church on the corner of Luton Road and North Drive will stage a concert this Friday in aid of church funds. The concert begins at 7.30pm and admission costs £5.

Date for Variety

THE date has been set for a charity show at Fleetwood's Marine Hall.

The Charity Variety Show in aid of Trinity Hospice will include funnyman Johnnie Casson, vocalist Tony Del Ray and magician Brian Sefton and tales place on Friday October 17 at 7.30pm.
