A HEARTLESS thief smashed a window to take two charity collection boxes in Fleetwood.
The crime was committed at the Central Garage on Albany Road, where the culprit broke a forecourt window and grabbed boxes belonging to Trinity Hospice and the Fishermen's Mission. The theft took place during Tuesday night.

RING students from Nelson and Colne College visited fish merchants Neve's, in Fleetwood, to discover the processes that fish go through, from arriving at dock to being released to supermarkets and restaurants.

WYRE Home Organ Society has lined up performer Brett Wales as their next guest organist.
The concert takes place at Ashley Conservative Club, Victoria Road East, Thornton, on Tuesday May 20, beginning at 7.45pm. Doors open at 7pm and the cost is £3 for members and £4 for guests, while children are admitted free.
Garden tree theft
A BAY tree in a pot was stolen from the garden of a home in Westfield Avenue in Fleetwood in the early hours of Thursday April 24.
The 4ft tree, with a spiral trunk, was valued at £70.
Learning Spanish
A SPANISH language class takes place this Friday at the RAFA Club in Victoria Road West, Cleveleys.
Entrance fee is £5, payable at the door and includes tuition and tapas.
