Two boys hurt after being hit by car

An air ambulance was called out to a Fylde school after two young boys were hit by a car.
The boys, one of them aged just 11 were hit by a car on Worsley Road, outside the Lytham St Annes Technology and Performing Arts College, at around 2.20pm today.
The 11-year-old was taken to hospital with a suspected fractured leg while the other boy, whose age has not yet been confirmed, suffered head injuries.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: “We got a call at 2.20pm after two boys were hit by a car. One had a possible fractured leg and the second boy had head injuries.”
