A man said he was egged-on by other people to go and steal from a supermarket.
William Brown, 52, of John Street, South Shore, pleaded guilty to theft.
He was fined £110 and ordered to pay £20 victims’ surcharge by Blackpool magistrates.
Peter Cave, defending, told magistrates: “Other people suggested that he go shoplifting. At the time his benefits had been stopped and he had not had any for eight weeks.”
